Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Director to lead their finance function. This part-time role involves overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and cashflow forecasting Maintain compliance with tax, payroll, and regulatory requirements Oversee payroll, HR compliance, and company taxation (including MTD) Manage credit control and working capital Maintain and improve finance systems and back-office processes Advise directors on financial planning, compliance, and risk Liaise with auditors, banks, and external advisors Skills & Experience ideally required Proven financial leadership in an SME environment Strong knowledge of payroll, tax (including MTD), and compliance Experience with credit control and cashflow management Comfortable with finance systems and IT tools Commercially minded with strong business acumen High attention to detail and integrity in financial reporting
