What you will do:
* Business Development
o Attend client meetings to understand requirements and respond with tailored proposals.
o Take ownership of our CRM system (Hubspot) by managing existing resources and channelling new data and insights.
o Support the sales cycle from qualifying prospects through to closures, whilst ensuring KPIs and targets are met.
o Communicate new product developments to prospective clients.
o Review clients' feedback and implement necessary changes.
* Marketing Support
o Support Angoka’s marketing and social media activities, post content and campaigns, ensuring consistency across all channels.
o Maintain Angoka’s regular marketing presence, and help tailor content to relevant events, news and articles.
o Manage and optimise Angoka’s presence on our website and social media outlets (WordPress, Twitter & LinkedIn).
o Work with the team to develop articles, posts, applications and other required documents for events and projects.
o Assist the creation of, and update existing collateral for marketing and events.
o Additional marketing administration duties as necessary.
o Keep up to date with industry changes and news to support the creation of timely, relevant and topical articles, posts and thought‑leadership content.
* Event Management
o Organise and execute the end‑to‑end process of virtual and in‑person events and conferences of various sizes.
o Establish an effective process for events, to help coordinate events within agreed schedules, scopes and budgets.
o Effectively liaise with key stakeholders, speakers and event organisers, ensuring objectives and requirements are clearly agreed and communicated.
o Source suitable components that create a successful event, including materials, suppliers, video platforms, collateral and venues.
o Attend virtual and in‑person events (some travel may be involved).
o Deliver event feedback to key stakeholders.
Qualifications
* At least 3 years experience in Business Development, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
* Degree level education in a relevant subject (preferred).
* Experience in executing events in various formats and managing an events calendar.
* Strong interest in cyber security, IoT, and technology.
* Proven knowledge of social media platforms and internet tools.
* Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely.
* Interpersonal skills and excellent business and commercial acumen.
* Able to work well under pressure when faced with time‑sensitive, business‑critical issues.
* Experience with IT tools/systems such as MS Office, Google Workspace, CRM.
* The ability to grasp a variety of platforms and systems quickly.
