I am working with one of the UK’s leading fit out and refurbishment specialists in a search for a Document Controller. The Document Controller will support several projects concurrently, ensuring all project documentation is accurately controlled, distributed and maintained in line with project and company procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced Document Controllers and those looking to progress from a Site Administrator or project support role.\n\nThe business uses Project Plus and Excel however, prior experience with this specific system is not essential.
Candidates with experience using similar document management systems such as 4P, Aconex, Procore or equivalent will be well suited with training provided where required.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Set up, manage and maintain project documentation in line with company and project procedures\n\n * Control the issue, receipt, tracking and filing of drawings, specifications and project records\n\n * Ensure document registers are accurate and kept up to date across multiple live projects\n\n * Distribute documentation to internal teams, consultants and subcontractors\n\n * Support project teams with general document control and administrative tasks\n\n * Maintain clear audit trails and version control for all project documentation\n\n * Liaise with site teams and the central office to en...
