Cover Supervisor – Secondary | Darlington | £90–£120 per day
September 2025 start | Part-time or Full-time (min. 3 days per week)
Want to gain hands-on classroom experience before teacher training—or simply enjoy working with young people in a secondary school setting? We’re looking for Cover Supervisors to support schools across Darlington.
This role is all about confidence, communication, and creating a calm learning environment when the teacher is away.
The role:
* Supervising students aged 11–16 across different subjects
* Delivering pre-set work and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere
* Managing behaviour and keeping lessons on track
* Acting as a role model and mentor for students
You’ll need:
* Experience working with young people (education, coaching, mentoring, clubs, etc.)
* A calm, resilient approach with excellent communication skills
* Confidence to lead a classroom independently
* Flexibility to work at least 3 days per week
