Job Title:Class 2 HGV Driver Flatbed Work
Location:Wakefield (Trailer Site)
Pay Rate:£15.50 per hour
Overtime:Paid at time and a half after 10 hours
About the Role:
Recruit A Driver are looking for reliable Class 2 Drivers to work on a long-standing CHEP pallets contract, delivering and collecting CHEP pallets using flatbed vehicles from an unmanned trailer site in Wakefield.
What Youll Do:
- Drive flatbed vehicles completing between 6-8 regional deliveries
- Work with automatic vehicles
- Follow clear delivery instructions (regular trailer numbers may be sent via text)
- Start your day at 06:00
Requirements:
- Confident securing high loads (approx 16ft) using ratchets and straps
- Own a smartphone to use the delivery app
- 1 year Class 2 flatbed experience
Shifts & Hours:
- Day shifts with a 06:00 start
- Flexible working pattern
- Overtime paid after 10 hours
