Occupational Therapist
Salary: £32- £37 / Hour

Location: North Yorkshire
We are currently seeking experienced Occupational Therapists for a range of opportunities within Adult Social Care services across North Yorkshire. These roles are ideal for OTs with a strong background in community-based practice who are passionate about promoting independence and supporting individuals to live safely at home.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake strength-based Occupational Therapy assessments within Adult Social Care
* Assess for and recommend appropriate equipment and minor/major adaptations
* Complete moving and handling assessments, providing safe and practical solutions
* Support service users and carers with the use of equipment and adaptations
* Promote independence, reablement, and hospital avoidance
* Work collaboratively with health professionals, housing teams, and partner agencies
* Manage a varied caseload in line with service priorities
* Maintain accurate and timely electronic records
* Contribute to outcome‑focused care planning in line with relevant legislation
Requirements
* Diploma or BSc in Occupational Therapy
* HCPC registration
* Experience within Adult Social Care or community settings
* Experience in:
* Equipment provision
* Moving and handling
* Home adaptations
* Good understanding of strength-based practice and relevant legislation (e.g. Care Act)
* Ability to manage a busy caseload
* Strong assessment, communication, and report writing skills
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)
