About this opportunity
We're looking for an energised, ambitious individual who is passionate about what we do and eager to support the growth of the UKTC business. The purpose of the Trust BDM is to drive incremental income growth for Mass Affluent and Private Banking by establishing partnerships with firms whereby we can offer our Trust and Estate services to their colleagues and/or customers.
The role of the Business Development Managers will be to partner with either internal or external businesses to assess and prioritise opportunities for growth and raise awareness of what we do and the wider Mass Affluent and Private Banking propositions. Trust is an established team, but growing, so in the early days you may need to support activity across the entire team; this could include building out corporate pitch materials to support the team win new business and developing the MI to track impact and progress.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about customers and growing the UKTC business. You'd need to enjoy working in a start-up mindset with high ambiguity and fast pace. We're looking for people who have:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to analyse MI and data to inform future direction of travel / decision making.
* Problem solving, you'll be quick to understand what needs doing and find the right way to get it done.
* A good knowledge of Trust and Fiduciary Services
* Can operate independently and is able to prioritise what matters.
* Ability to simplify and present complex ideas to gain understanding and commitment.
* Flexible, reliable and adaptable to working in a changing environment.
* Experience in a business development role previously
