Join Our Team as a Customer Support Specialist at Cara Technology!

Are you customer-focused, highly organized, and tech-savvy? Do you love solving problems, working with data, and ensuring customers have an amazing experience? If so, we’d love to have you join us as our Customer Support Specialist!

At Cara Technology, we’re leaders in sensory and flavour quality testing for the food and beverage industry. Our global clients—including breweries, soft drink manufacturers, and food producers—rely on us for high-quality sensory solutions. As part of our team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring customers get the support they need to succeed.


What You’ll Be Doing

Customer Support & Technical Help

1. Be the first point of contact for customer inquiries—respond via email, phone, and our HubSpot helpdesk.
2. Help customers with their accounts, login issues, and general system troubleshooting.
3. Provide support for our Taster Validation Schemes (TVS), guiding customers through setup and usage.

Systems & Platform Support

1. Assist customers with our browser-based platform, ensuring smooth navigation.
2. Troubleshoot system issues and escalate technical problems when necessary.
3. Maintain and update customer records in HubSpot CRM.

Sales & Reporting Support

1. Work closely with our sales team, providing data entry and reporting support.
2. Help customers with order processing and account management.
3. Track and analyze customer queries to improve our support systems.


What We’re Looking For

1. Customer-first mindset – You enjoy problem-solving and ensuring customers get what they need.
2. Tech-savvy & IT-literate – You can navigate online platforms, troubleshoot issues, and support customers effectively.
3. Strong communicator – You're clear, friendly, and professional in both written and verbal interactions.
4. Organized & detail-oriented – You can manage multiple tasks and stay on top of customer needs.
5. Team player – You collaborate well but can also work independently.
6. Experience with CRM & Ticketing systems – HubSpot experience is a plus, but any CRM knowledge helps!

Bonus Points If You Have:

1. Experience in customer service, technical support, or helpdesk roles.
2. Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
3. A second language (not required, but a big plus!).
