Set within a stunning country inn, this 2 rosette restaurant offers an exceptional fine dining experience focused on elegant, seasonal cuisine and impeccable service. With a strong reputation for quality and sophistication, I am now seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house team to continued success.
As Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of this gorgeous restaurant. Your mission is to ensure seamless service, exceptional guest experiences, and uphold the standards expected of a 5-star, award-winning establishment. You will work closely with the Head Chef, F&B Manager, and the wider hotel team to deliver excellence at every level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver an outstanding guest experience in line with 2 Rosette standards
* Ensure smooth service during breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including private dining and events
* Train, develop and motivate FOH staff to maintain high performance and service consistency
* Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu changes, wine pairings, and service briefings
* Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage budgets and costs efficiently
* Uphold health & safety, hygiene, and licensing requirements
* Address and resolve guest feedback in a professional and timely manner
* Assist with recruitment, rotas, and performance reviews
What I'm Looking For:
* Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a fine dining or luxury hotel setting
* Deep understanding of high-end guest service, food, and wine
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Impeccable attention to detail and a passion for hospitality
* Knowledge of AA Rosette or Michelin standards is highly desirable
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
