Shift Pattern:
Weekly rotating shift pattern: 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday. 2pm to 11pm Monday to Thursday, 2pm to 6pm on a Friday. During training hours will be 8am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm on Friday.

What You Will Do:
* Learn & operate machines in accordance with our skills matrix.
* Perform die cutting, folding, gluing, laminating, and printing.
* Inspect and manage machines to guarantee high‑quality production.
* Understand various job needs by learning different job types, assessing each job’s needs, and organizing job sequences.
* Inspect all produced materials to identify errors and correct them to ensure client satisfaction.
* Ensure equipment is in good condition by taking preventive maintenance measures and following manufacturer’s maintenance tips.
* When machinery malfunctions, take equipment for repairs, liaise with the engineering team, and inquire about new maintenance and operation techniques.
* Inspect all equipment and materials to ensure they are not in shortage and raise any issues with the production team leader.
* Operate machinery including die cutting, folding, gluing, laminating and printing.
* Set machines for a range of customer products, adjust tooling to produce quality products.
* Monitor and fine‑tune machine running speeds to maintain efficiencies and achieve targets.
* Report tooling damages or upgrades/replacements required to the team leader and design team.
* Perform weekly routine maintenance: clean down machine following BRC hygiene requirements for food safety, grease and replace worn parts with engineering team.
* Learn and operate other process lines & machines when requested as part of the company’s training and development skills matrix.

Essential Requirements:
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Machine operating experience.

Desirable Requirements:
* Experience within the packaging industry.
* Die cutting operating experience advantageous.
* Folding gluing operating experience advantageous.
* Laminating & printing experience advantageous.
* Understanding or experience with BRC Food safety – HACCP (training will be given).
* Forklift driving advantageous due to multi‑skilled work available.
