Job Description
Do you want your work to genuinely matter?
An established and highly regarded training organisation in the East Midlands is looking to welcome a Trainer in Animal Care to its growing team. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who believes in the power of education, enjoys working with young people, and wants to play a hands-on role in helping learners build skills, confidence, and brighter futures.
This organisation is known for its inclusive culture, strong learner outcomes, and commitment to continuous improvement. Staff are supported, trusted, and encouraged to bring their personality and passion into their work — and that makes a real difference to the young people they serve.
As a Trainer in Animal Care, you’ll work with 16–18-year-old learners who are taking important steps towards employment, further training, or independence. Many arrive with varied experiences, confidence levels, and learning needs — and your role is to meet them where they are, then help them move forward.
You’ll deliver engaging, well-planned training through a blend of classroom-based learning and practical sessions, including regular visits to a local farm. Your teaching will focus not just on technical knowledge, but on building employability skills, resilience, and a sense of achievement.
