Overview
We have weekly paid hours available for experienced Healthcare Assistants to work daytime hours on a flexible basis in the Ilkeston area.
You will be working in a care home that accommodates up to 31 residents. The residents suffer from age-related illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s, so supporting their mental and physical well-being is of the utmost importance.
Responsibilities
* Providing personal care to both male and female residents.
* Assisting with mobility using moving aids.
* Helping with domestic duties.
* Providing companionship to residents.
* Assisting with fluids and nutrition and ensuring health and safety standards are maintained.
Qualifications
* An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
* Up to date mandatory training
* A referenceable work history
* At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
Training and Sponsorship
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep.
Please note that we do not offer sponsorships.

Hours and Pay
The hours available to you will be 14:15 to 22:00 with hours available between Monday to Sunday.
The rate of pay for this role is £12.35 per hour.
