The role involves supervising the welfare of children aged 3-11 in the dining hall, playground and classroom.The successful candidate will work collaboratively and respond sensitively and confidently to the needs of the children. The post holder must be self-motivated, flexible and a good team player, who is dedicated to ensuring that lunch time at St George's Primary School is a pleasurable and safe experience for our children As a Midday Assistant, you will be responsible for: Supervising and escorting children to dining and play areasMaintaining and demonstrating good standards of table manners and eating habitsHelping prepare and serve refreshments, following health and safety guidelinesPromoting good behaviour and handling conflicts or incidents in line with school behaviour policiesAdministering first aid, as appropriateReporting & recording incidents, accidents, and any issues concerning discipline or safety on our School MIS and to the Senior Midday Supervisor, as appropriate. Collaborating with teachers and other staff to support children's welfare and safety.
