Are you an experienced Legal Secretary seeking your next opportunity in a supportive and reputable firm? We're looking for a proactive, organised, and professional Legal Secretary to join a well-established firm in Bedfordshire.
In this role, you'll provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to solicitors, helping ensure the smooth running of the department. You'll be part of a friendly, collaborative team where your skills and initiative are valued.
The Role
* Providing vital secretarial and administrative support to solicitors dealing with a broad range of litigation matters, mainly property litigation.
* Audio and copy typing legal documents and correspondence.
* Preparing and amending client documentation.
* Diary management and arranging appointments.
* Liaising with clients, courts, and external bodies.
* Managing files, opening and closing matters.
* Assisting with billing and time recording.
Skills Required
* Minimum of 1 year's experience in a legal secretary role, ideally within a property litigation department.
* Strong typing and administrative skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality.
* A friendly and professional manner when dealing with clients.
* Confident using legal software and Microsoft Office.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
