Join to apply for the 999 Emergency Call Handler - Norwich role at East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust.
Responsibilities
* Answer 999 calls in the Emergency Operating Centre in a timely manner.
* Utilise the clinical triage software system to deliver a category of response to callers.
* Be polite, courteous and respectful at all times when talking to patients, callers and peers, in line with the Trust's values and behaviours.
* Work with a 12 hour shift pattern flexibly from Monday to Sunday including day and night shifts.
* Receive training and mentoring; no clinical experience is required.
* Read the pre-employment guidance to support commencement of training.
* Work with the intuitive triage tool that presents guidance when needed.
Qualifications and experience
* No clinical experience is required.
* Some call-centre experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
