You will bring vision and determination to lead the service to deliver modern, person centred, effective and empowering approaches to ensure Midlothian’s children have the best start in life. You will have extensive experience as a Health Visitor or School Nurse, significant management experience and a track record of transformational and compassionate leadership. You will be fully conversant with Child Protection guidance, GIRFEC and the NMC Code. As a skilled communicator, you will have the ability to forge effective relationships as the foundation for partnership working across primary, community and secondary health care services, social work, early years, education and third sector services. You will bring the ability to use data to inform decision making, drive performance and evidence impact and outcomes. The Health Visiting service is delivered by five teams based in health centres across Midlothian.
