A selection of the interview questions can be found on our Careers site: How to Apply – NHS Lothian Careers Midlothian HSCP – Health Visiting and Pre School Immunisations; Clinical Nurse Manager Due to the promotion of the current postholder, Midlothian Health and Social Care Partnership is looking to recruit an experienced Specialist Community Public Health Nurse who will bring strong leadership and management skills to the role of Clinical Nurse Manager for Health Visiting. You will bring vision and determination to lead the service to deliver modern, person centred, effective and empowering approaches to ensure Midlothian’s children have the best start in life. You will have extensive experience as a Health Visitor or School Nurse, significant management experience and a track record of transformational and compassionate leadership. You will be fully conversant with Child Protection guidance, GIRFEC and the NMC Code. As a skilled communicator, you will have the ability to forge effective relationships as the foundation for partnership working across primary, community and secondary health care services, social work, early years, education and third sector services. You will bring the ability to use data to inform decision making, drive performance and evidence impact and outcomes. The Health Visiting service is delivered by five teams based in health centres across Midlothian. The post holder will also carry responsibility for the 0-5 years Immunisations Team and provide a professional leadership line for 2 Registered Nurses working in the Health Inclusion team in integrated services within the HSCP. You will be leading a motivated and committed team with an appetite for quality improvement, addressing inequalities and working collectively to promote health and wellbeing. You will bring the ability to lead and promote approaches that creatively address the additional post-pandemic and cost of living crisis challenges faced by children and their parents and guardians, whilst balancing the workforce and resource challenges inherent in public services at this time.
