About the role
Eviosys is looking for a talented Graphic Packaging Designer to join our Promo New Product Development (NPD) Team. This role will develop world-class creative concepts, deliver final artwork for product launches, and drive packaging innovation across a wide range of clients.
Reporting directly to the Promotional NPD Manager, you will work closely with R&D Innovation and Marketing teams as part of a dynamic team of Graphic Packaging Designers. This position will allow you to blend creativity with technical expertise, driving product success through compelling and innovative designs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Take briefs from various stakeholders (Commercial, Marketing, NPD, clients, design agencies) and translate them into market-leading packaging designs.
2. Assist in planning and coordinating projects to help meet deadlines and ensure smooth customer fulfilment.
3. Work closely with clients and internal teams to contribute to brainstorming sessions, present designs, and explore innovative solutions.
4. Use illustrative skills to produce rough sketches, mock-ups, and visual concepts for customer pitches and RFQ processes.
5. Create print-ready artwork and collaborate with engineering, reprographics, and print proofing teams to ensure the final product matches the design vision.
6. Maintain a high-quality library of concepts and work produced for future reference and packaging awards submissions.
7. Provide guidance and training to a Graphic Design Apprentice.
Key Skills
Essential
8. A degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
9. Proficient in Adobe CC Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).
10. Strong illustrative and conceptual design skills.
11. Excellent communication skills, with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
12. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and consistently deliver innovative design
13. Experience in taking packaging design to print to understand the full and final artwork process
Desirable
14. Experience in packaging graphic design or branding.
15. Experience with 3D modeling software (SolidWorks) and 3D artistic software (Blender, Adobe) is a plus.
