Senior Officer – Rapid Rehousing (Temporary) 35 hours
NLC12 £46, to £51,
Based within Motherwell, we are looking for someone who has the skills and knowledge to work within the Council’s Rapid Rehousing Transition Plan, Homes First Team.
This temporary post will work closely with a range of stakeholders including Housing solutions, the Third Sector Alliance and other partners in relation to Homes First, Homes First Pathway and Rapid Rehousing. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with North Lanarkshire Council’s corporate and Social Work’s policies, services and strategies and promote the principles of person-centred practice in social work service delivery. A collaborative working approach is essential to ensure individuals are offered all available supports available to ensure we deliver improved outcomes to some of the most vulnerable individuals in our communities.
To apply for this post, you must demonstrate that you have the necessary skills and knowledge and have a background working in a social care setting. You must also hold a relevant professional qualification such as a Diploma in Social Work or equivalent, BSc Occupational Therapy/Diploma in Community Occupation Therapy or a Professional Nursing Qualification.
Registration with the relevant professional body i.e. the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) or Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.
