MPI Sales Director Job Description
MPI has a requirement for a Sales Director to work on-site at East Midlands Airport.
Hours: 40 hours a week - (a degree of flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the business)
Rate of pay: Dependent on experience, to be discussed on application
Position Summary:
Reporting to the MD, the Sales Director is responsible for identifying new business opportunities within the UK and European markets, developing and maintaining existing client relationships, and contributing towards the growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Sales & Commercial department, while aligning with the company's strategic goals.
2. Initiate action plans to identify, target, and secure new business for the company.
3. Analyze statistics to determine business growth potential.
4. Develop, maintain, and improve relationships with existing clients.
5. Create a strategic marketing plan for the company.
6. Coordinate sales operations with other departments/divisions.
7. Stay updated with market trends and new developments for business improvement.
8. Proactively develop and improve products and services.
9. Promote the client's narrow-body aircraft MRO at EMA.
Requirements:
* Management degree preferred.
* Proven sales experience in aviation.
* Good understanding of airline maintenance requirements to drive business growth.
* Knowledge of costing processes.
* Understanding of MRO structures and commercial contracts.
* Excellent and engaging communication skills.
* Ability to build effective relationships and manage business performance.
