Hays are a leading education recruitment agency, working closely with schools across South Warwickshire. We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in Mainstream Primary Schools across South Warwickshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work while supporting pupils with additional needs.
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities may include:
1. Supporting pupils with SEN within a mainstream primary classroom
2. Working as a teaching assistant on a 1:1 basis or with small groups
3. Assisting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or learning difficulties
4. Collaborating with class teachers and SENCOS to support learning plans
5. Helping pupils remain focused, engaged and confident in lessons
6. Provide a calm, consistent presence as an SEN teaching assistant

What we're looking for:
12. Experience as a teaching assistant, SEN teaching assistant or in a similar child-focused role
13. A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach to learning support
14. A genuine passion for working as a teaching assistant in primary education
15. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
16. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
