We’re looking to appoint a Business Development Director to join our growing team and lead our product offering with c‑suite level prospects across the UK. These would be highly innovative companies across sectors typically including fintech, AI, defence and sustainable tech.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience of building and developing new business relationships within a professional services environment, and may have an established network they can leverage to drive strategic partnerships.
This is a pivotal role in expanding our reach by building trusted relationships with relevant prospect clients, positioning us as their preferred vendor.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement and embed a solid GTM strategy for new business development into organisational service lines
* Identify, engage, and onboard new clients who may benefit from our services
* Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key stakeholders across a dynamic portfolio of clients.
* Develop a deep understanding of client needs and tailor collaboration strategies accordingly.
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
* Represent at industry events, networking opportunities, and professional association meetings.
* Track, report, and forecast performance and pipeline activity.
About You
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior business development role, engaging with c‑suite clients from within a professional services environment
* Strong existing network of credible relationships with key decision makers, with a proven ability to leverage relationships to drive results.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging senior stakeholders.
* Commercially minded with a track record of achieving growth targets.
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously.
