Job description
About the role:
To assist the Senior Youth Worker and/or Youth Worker with the overall running of youth clubs/ projects, its performance and the young people who attend.
About you:
• Knowledge and understanding of issues affecting young people including child
development and parenting
• Knowledge of the importance of confidentiality
• Enthusiasm and commitment to improving the lives of young people and their
families
• Motivated to work with most vulnerable individuals
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
What you will do:
Support the delivery of open access youth clubs in the delegated youth centre to
ensure young people have access to a range of informal and non-formal learning
opportunities which responds to the youth work CASH curriculum and Principles and
Purposes of youth work in Wales.
