Job Description
3. Prepare and present accurate financial reports to support business planning and performance reviews.
4. Analyse variances and provide insights to enhance cost control and profitability.
5. Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes to align with company objectives.
6. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
7. Collaborate with various departments to provide financial guidance and support.
8. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
9. Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors as required.
10. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the finance function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
11. A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
12. Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry or a comparable sector.
13. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
14. Proficiency in financial software and tools, with excellent Excel skills.
15. A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
16. The ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate financial insights clearly.
