ADHD Nurse Prescriber – £55,000–£65,000
Locations: Remote or hybrid, with optional bases in Basingstoke and Canterbury

Applicants must have previous or recent experience working within an ADHD service (minimum 3–6 months preferred). Role Overview
The ADHD Nurse Prescriber will assess, diagnose, and support individuals with ADHD, delivering both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. The role involves independent prescribing, medication management, and ongoing clinical reviews. Key Responsibilities
Complete full ADHD assessments, provide clear diagnostic feedback, and produce high-quality clinical reports.
Deliver follow-up reviews for individuals with an ADHD diagnosis, ensuring holistic, patient-centred care.
Initiate, titrate, and discontinue stimulant and non-stimulant medications in line with clinical need.
Manage a caseload throughout the medication pathway, ensuring timely and compliant follow-up.
Generate and monitor prescriptions in accordance with safety protocols and clinical guidelines.
Run medication management clinics, including physical health checks and ongoing monitoring.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary professionals (e.g., psychologists, speech therapists) in cases involving differential diagnoses.
Maintain effective communication with GP practices and external services, making appropriate referrals when needed.
Assess risk at every patient contact, identify safeguarding concerns, and escalate appropriately.
Engage in continuous professional development and stay informed on current ADHD research and best practice.Requirements
Registered Mental Health Nurse with V300 Independent Prescribing qualification.
Active NMC registration and full revalidation compliance.
Demonstrable experience in ADHD assessment and treatment
