We are currently looking for a passionate Reservations Agent to join the team here at Bankside Hotel - Voted one of the 'Best Places to Work in Hospitality' 3 years in a row. What will you be doing?
* Responding to communications from guests and travel agents, as well as helping process reservations arriving by phone, e-mail, and through our central reservations system.
* Focusing on letters of confirmation, cancellations, and modifications, and communicating these both internally and with guests.
* Working with the Front Office Team to prepare the backup of expected arrivals after doing daily arrival checks and also taking advance reservation deposits.
* Maintaining standards and having great attention to detail while also having a warm and friendly phone/e-mail manner and a desire for guest satisfaction.
* Previous experience using Marsha, Opera, or the Marriott Suite of programs, or within a similar role/hotel would be a benefit, but is not a requirement. As long as you have a can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn or get into hospitality, then get in touch!
