Overview
Our client, a national defendant insurance firm, is looking for a Solicitor to join its Glasgow based Casualty team. You will act on behalf of clients including insurers and local authorities, managing pre and litigated disease claims as well as EL/PL claims, motor/fraud matters, and assisting with high value and complex cases.
Responsibilities
* Manage pre and litigated disease claims and EL/PL claims, motor and fraud matters, and assist with high value and complex cases.
* Act on behalf of insurers and local authorities within the Casualty team.
* Collaborate with Partners and participate in business development initiatives.
* Maintain motivation and the ability to work to tight deadlines, while delivering clear and effective communication.
Qualifications and Skills
* Qualified solicitor with experience in casualty work (including EL/PL, disease claims, motor and fraud matters).
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and able to contribute to business development initiatives.
