Description
As a HSEQ Compliance Auditor, you will be part of a central HSEQ Team with responsibility for one of our regional contracts reporting to the Senior HSEQ Advisor.
You will be responsible for promoting compliance throughout the business, escalating issues identified, and ensuring employees are aware of raised issues. Additionally, you will promote document control and system compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain detailed and accurate audit documentation and compliance registers.
* Track audit actions and ensure timely close-out.
* Produce reports for internal governance.
* Ensure safety and compliance standards are maintained and issues addressed promptly.
* Complete verification inspections and follow up on non-conformances.
* Support accident and incident investigations, promoting quality reporting and closure.
* Encourage reporting of unsafe acts/conditions and positive interventions.
* Prepare weekly and monthly reports on achievements and issues.
* Coordinate the closure of corrective actions with the Compliance Department and external auditors.
* Compile accident/incident statistics and attend client meetings.
* Collaborate with the operational team to improve processes and systems.
* Promote safe behaviors on-site and in the office.
* Support training and competency requirements to ensure high standards of training compliance.
* Assist the Quality Assurance Lead with accreditations such as ISO standards (ISO45001, ISO9001, ISO14001).
* Support the business in achieving milestones and strategic plans.
* Be proactive in learning about the company's products and services.
Experience and Qualifications
* H&S qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent) (essential)
* EUSR Water Hygiene (desirable)
* EUSR Shea Water (desirable)
* IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
* Experience in Utilities or Construction sectors (desirable)
* Full UK Driving License
