A leading UK manufacturer of high-security and safety-critical products is seeking a Senior Quality & Process Control Engineer to join its niche division. With a strong reputation for engineering excellence andpliance within highly regulated environments, the business plays a key role in deliveringplex programmes across the secure estate.

Your new role

As Quality & Process Control Engineer, you will take full ownership of the quality function across a certain segment. Based from the core manufacturing site, you will lead quality strategy while providing hands-on support across manufacturing, installation andmissioning phases nationwide. This is a highly visible, client-facing role requiring frequent travel to live project sites, including secure environments.Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading the development and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)
2. Establishing robust process controls across a diverse product range
3. Driving full lifecycle CAPA activities, including root cause analysis and implementation of long-term corrective actions
4. Supporting installation teams on-site, ensuringpliance with specifications and resolving quality issues in real time
5. Conducting audits across manufacturing operations and supplier base
6. Ensuringpliance with key standards and regulations
7. Managing quality documentation, traceability systems, and client reporting requirements
8. Engaging with key stakeholders including Tier 1 contractors andernment bodies during pre-construction and delivery phases


What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:
9. Proven experience in a senior quality or process engineering role within manufacturing, construction, or high-security environments
10. Strong working knowledge of quality management systems and regulatorypliance
11. Experience applying structured problem-solving methodologies such as 5 Whys, FMEA and root cause analysis
12. Demonstrable experience supporting multi-site or project-based quality delivery
13. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and partners
14. A flexible approach with the ability to travel extensively across the UK
