Our team has been instrumental in advancing the value agenda, focusing on reducing inequality in service provision and emphasising the importance of our services in alleviating pressure on secondary care. By collaborating with our respected academic partners, the successful candidate will have the chance to develop their analytical skills alongside experts in the field.
In this role, you will work closely with key stakeholders to produce comprehensive financial plans. Additionally, you will collaborate with our information team to map services to activity and cost dashboards, ensuring a holistic approach to financial management.
* Support financial performance monitoring and provide financial advice to NWJCC Directorates.
* Provide financial reporting to demonstrate value for money.
* Offer expertise and advice on value-based research and service improvement with NWJCC.
* Contribute significantly to budget setting, financial performance monitoring, financial advice, and NHS final accounts and returns, liaising with line managers, NWJCC commissioning teams, directors, and other budget holders, within statutory, UHB procedures, and legal requirements.
* Work to deadlines, especially during month-end reporting, budget setting, and financial analysis.
* Operate independently without direct supervision.
* Work with discretion to achieve goals within broad professional policies and guidelines.
