Minimum qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
* 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
* 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
* Experience with Java or Kotlin.
* Experience with data modeling in data science.
* Experience creating conceptual and logical data models.
Preferred qualifications
* 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
* Experience with design and coding.
* Experience in writing code.
* Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities
* Develop new features and capabilities for the Local Business back-end technology stack.
* Port features from the old system to the new one, as well as work on new requirements from client teams.
* Evolve the core system that manages and exposes Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) application programming interfaces (APIs) for local business data across Maps and Shopping.
