About the Role
We are seeking an experienced PSA Engineer Hardware and System to join our EMS e-terra / ADMS Series 3 team. In this role, you will work on mission-critical systems, ensuring the stability, configuration, and continuous improvement of infrastructure supporting our advanced energy management applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, deliver innovative solutions, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead system-level engineering tasks to meet business and project goals.
* Develop and implement fixes on live customer systems while ensuring system stability.
* Perform installation and maintenance of OS patches and third-party software (Oracle, NetApp, etc.).
* Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues across infrastructure and applications.
* Collaborate with global teams to identify, analyze, and resolve system performance challenges.
* Support configuration management and version control using GitHub and ClearCase.
* Ensure reliability and performance for real-time, mission-critical systems.
Primary Skillset
* 5+ years of experience with Linux and Windows OS.
* Strong knowledge of C, Java, Oracle Database, SQL, and shell scripting.
* Experience reading/debugging logs and system files.
* Familiarity with GitHub and ClearCase.
* Proven experience with real-time or mission-critical systems.
* Excellent problem analysis, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office tools.
Secondary Skillset
* Understanding of Utility applications (EMS e-terra / ADMS Series 3).
* Hardware and/or system administration experience.
* Strong analytical, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
* Quality-oriented with structured, methodical work habits.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and presentation skills.
