About the Job
Hammurabi & Solomon Partners is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate/ Senior Associate – Corporate Law with 2–5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join the esteemed law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate commercial law, with a proven ability to handle complex transactions, commercial contracts, and corporate compliance matters.This role will also include leading the implementation of the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act & related rules as they are notified, requiring a proactive approach and strong regulatory insight.
Eligibility
* Company Secretary (CS) qualification preferred, but not mandatory
* Candidates who have worked in law firms or legal consultancy firms.
Responsibilities
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts including Structuring, drafting and advising on other transactional and investment documents.
* Leading and coordinating due diligence exercises and other advisory services.
* Providing corporate secretarial services.
* Advising on and implementing compliance measures in relation to the IT & Data Protection Law.
* Collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions
* Keeping abreast of legal and regulatory developments in the corporate and data privacy domain
