Title: Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)
Location: Swindon
Shifts: 10pm – 10am, 3 days on 3 days off
Salary: Circa GBP45,000 – GBP50,000 (inclusive of shift allowance) + Benefits Package

We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a critical role where you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, helping us to advance the world of health.
Responsibilities
* Provide electrical and mechanical support across all areas of production.
* Work in clean rooms and controlled environments while adhering to GMP standards.
* Perform scheduled maintenance, monitor machine performance, and respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
* Achieve and maintain production output standards.
* Maintain and service production machinery.
* Plan and execute preventative maintenance programs using a CMMS.
* Manage machine spare parts inventory.
* Provide technical expertise and advice on equipment issues.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Rapidly respond to and troubleshoot machine breakdowns.
* Monitor and analyze machine performance data.
* Assist with training activities for other team members.
* Pre-plan maintenance activities to optimize efficiency.
* Analyze breakdown frequencies to identify root causes and implement solutions.
* Participate in training and risk assessment programs.
Experience and Qualifications
* Background in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Tooling/Plastics processing (formal apprenticeship, HND, or university degree).
* Experience in a medium to high-volume manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of high-speed automated assembly processes.
* Proven skills in problem-solving and fault-finding on manufacturing machines.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
* Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office.
