Sharp Consultancy are pleased to be working with an established Accountancy practice based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire in their recruitment for a Semi Senior Accountant to join in a newly created role. This role is designed to provide extensive mentorship from one of South Yorkshire’s top Managing Partners – which is very rare in today’s market!
Our client is a well-established forward-thinking firm with a strong commitment to staff development and a supportive environment. This role will be well-suited to someone looking for more ownership of accounts prep processes with an excellent mentor and flexibility.

Duties and responsibilities
* Manage and grow your own client portfolio
* Prepare draft financial statements and business tax computations
* Assist with client finalisation meetings and highlight documentation
* Support junior team members and contribute to quality control
* Handle client queries across bookkeeping and taxation
* Plan and manage your own workload to meet deadlines
Person Specification
* AAT Qualified
* Experience of using QuickBooks, Sage and Xero Accounting software
* Accountancy Practice background
