Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance team and ensure the efficient operation of all machinery, equipment, and accommodation. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, a solid background in plumbing, mechanical,and/or electrical systems, and the ability to manage teams and projects effectively. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of safety and functionality within our facilities.
Duties
* Supervise and lead the maintenance team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
* Develop and implement maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment to minimise downtime.
* Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety policy, process, and regulations.
* Manage maintenance projects from inception to completion, coordinating with various departments as necessary.
* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues, utilising applied knowledge to multi-skill.
* Delegate effectively to team members
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory management.
* Maintain accurate records of in-lodge equipment holdings
* Provide training and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Skills
* Proven team leader experience
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Strong first-hand experience and knowledge of applicable equipment and/or facilities.
* Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
* Previous supervising experience within a maintenance environment is essential.
