Quantity Surveyor
We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join one of the largest privately owned main contractors in the UK on an exciting project in Devizes. The business operates nationally and undertakes projects across a range of sectors including defence, education, healthcare, MOJ and commercial valuing anywhere from £30 million to £200 million. They are currently undertaking a large-scale project in Devizes and are now looking for additional commercial resource.
About the role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working within the project team procuring and managing various packages of works, reporting into the Commercial Lead.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage sub-contract procurement
* Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
* Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
* Deal with final accounts
Key Requirements
* Have a HNC / construction related degree
* Have administered JCT / NEC forms of contract
* Must have the full right to work in the UK
* Must live within commutable distance to Devizes
