MS Dynamics 365 F&O Lead Supply Chain Management Consultant
The Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) business unit at KPMG is looking for a Dynamics 365 F&O Lead Finance Consultant with experience in all phases of large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365 F&O projects.
The ideal candidate will possess a hands-on approach and proven experience in end-to-end implementations, combined with a strong understanding of SCM processes and procedures, as well as practical knowledge of interfacing and integration with Dynamics products. A demonstrable history of consultancy experience is essential, as this role involves continuous interaction with clients, leading onshore consultants, and working alongside both onshore and offshore development teams. This role will also require involvement in presales activities related to Dynamics F&O functionality and the broader Microsoft platform. Additionally, you will contribute to proposal development and support business development efforts, while leading and mentoring junior staff.
This position is crucial for delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions to clients. It offers a dynamic and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business area within a well-established, market-leading global firm.
Responsibilities:
* Leading the Supply Chain Management workstream of full end-to-end D365 F&O implementations across all project phases.
* Gathering and documenting functional requirements, performing gap/fit analysis for the workstream.
* Designing solutions for the Supply Chain / Logistics workstream, making design decisions, and creating or reviewing solution documentation.
* Solving complex problems with innovative solutions.
* Delivering end-user training to clients and colleagues as needed.
* Providing on-site support during delivery and go-live phases, assisting clients and junior team members.
* Managing scope (change control) and advising on scope creep.
* Upselling and demonstrating understanding of additional capabilities within the company.
* Keeping abreast of product roadmaps and upcoming features in D365FO related to supply chain, and sharing updates with the team.
* Participating in responding to RFPs and RFQs, and other pre-sales activities.
* Contributing to the development of SCM capabilities within the D365 F&O product team.
* Supporting practice development activities, including creating and delivering training.
* Leading and mentoring team members to foster growth.
* Promoting company values and maintaining professional representation of KPMG MBS.
* Managing the performance of junior team members.
* Ensuring timely completion of internal processes and mandatory training.
* Performing additional duties as assigned by Directors.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience with Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365F&O) or AX2012, with at least three end-to-end implementations. Strong consulting background and excellent presentation skills.
* Ability to lead meetings and workshops, confidently present to executive-level stakeholders.
* Hands-on experience with D365FO modules such as Inventory Management, Master Planning, Procurement and Sourcing, Product Information Management, Production Control, Sales and Marketing.
* Strong understanding of procurement, sales, inventory, and production processes, including accounting implications.
* Knowledge of production and master planning, transportation, and warehousing is desirable.
* Experience with interfacing and integration of D365F&O.
* Microsoft Dynamics certification in Trade and Logistics (current version preferred).
* Proficiency in MS Office applications; Visio is a plus.
* Experience with Business Intelligence tools is advantageous.
* Experience responding to RFPs and RFQs.
* Mentoring experience with junior consultants.
