Salary: £9,500 to £10,500 per session
Contract: Permanent, Full-time, Flexible working pattern
Responsibilities
* Provide autonomous general practitioner service in a primary care setting.
* Assess, diagnose and treat patients through surgery, online, telephone and home visits.
* Prescribe medicines and manage repeat prescriptions according to formulary.
* Record clear consultation notes and maintain clinical standards.
* Participate in on-call and extended hours service as allocated.
* Engage in continuous professional development, audit and quality improvement activities.
* Work collaboratively with PCN staff and wider healthcare professionals.
* Contribute to education and training of GP registrars and other staff where appropriate.
* Adopt and apply PCN wide schemes and extended hours and hub working where required.
Qualifications
* Qualified GP (MRCGP, Vocational Training Certificate or CCT).
* Full GMC registration.
* National Performers List registration (England) and appropriate indemnity.
* Evidence of current validation and recent appraisal.
* Experience of working in a primary care environment with a focus on clinical audit and QOF.
* Under 2 years from qualification (Newly Qualified).
* Not previously substantively employed at a GP Practice.

* Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Strong IT skills and competence in EMIS and EMIS IT.
* Effective time management and organisational skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Problem solving and analytical skill set.
* Experience of medicines management and clinical risk management.
