Job Summary
Reporting to the E&F Office Manager, the post holder will provide administration and clerical duties for the Estates and Facilities Department, offering support to the Estates and Facilities Management team. The role is based at the Tickhill Road Hospital site, with contact expected with patients and visitors to the Trust.
If you do not already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH offers this post alongside an opportunity to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship relevant to the role.
As an apprentice within RDaSH you will gain experience, learn work-related skills and receive the tools needed to thrive. An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation, with around 20% of working hours spent training or studying, leading to a nationally recognised qualification. Apprenticeships can help you develop the skills, knowledge and know-how to embark on a career within the health service.
Main duties of the job
You will undertake a range of duties including receiving callers to the departments, issuing permits to contractors and directing them to the appropriate location, administering meetings (including coordinating diaries, preparing and circulating papers, and taking minutes), filing, and handling all stages of the goods/services ordering process, from raising requisitions to processing invoices and dealing with related queries.
