PK Education are working with a secondary school in Barnsley who are looking to appoint a Health & Social Care and Geography Teacher from September 2026.
This is a part-time teaching position, approximately 0.6 FTE, with the exact working days to be confirmed. The role offers a unique opportunity to teach across both a vocational and an academic subject area within a supportive and well-established school.
The successful candidate will teach Health & Social Care alongside Geography, joining two departments that work collaboratively and place a strong emphasis on student engagement and achievement.

The Role
* Teaching Health & Social Care and Geography across KS3 and KS4
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons
* Marking and assessing student progress
* Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their potential
* Contributing positively to both departments
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Health & Social Care and/or Geography
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills
* Ability to engage and motivate learners
* A positive and professional approach to teaching and learning
