At Tembo we are looking for someone to deliver partnership marketing with a focus on customer growth and engagement. As a Partnerships Marketing Executive, you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful marketing initiatives that strengthen relationships with our partners. You’ll be working with different types of audiences from strategic partners, workplace partners who offer Tembos products and services to employees and introducer partners, so understanding what matters to them and how our solutions fit is essential.
This is a hands-on, varied role and ideal for a proactive marketer looking to gain experience across multiple activities, from event management and content creation to campaign execution and partner support.
Job description:
* Serve as the primary marketing liaison for external partners and the internal partnerships team
* Support partner marketing: work closely with the Partnerships team to execute strategic campaigns and provide ongoing marketing support for various partner-focused initiatives.
* Event support: planning and execution of in-person and online events, including annual shows, partner networking events, webinars, and partner benefit days. This includes coordinating with the partnerships team and external organisers, organising branding and merchandise, sending invitations, and briefing internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
* Content: create short-form content for social media, newsletters and standalone emails (partner updates, testimonials, case studies). This includes developing partner testimonials, educational materials, and announcements tailored to the partnership audiences ensuring deadlines are met and partnership KPIs are achieved.
* Campaign activations: support the Partnerships Marketing Manager with campaign execution for paid activities involving key partners. This includes creating digital ad banners for publication websites, preparing content for solus emails, and more.
Personal Attributes & Experience
* 3+ years marketing experience in a fast-paced business.
* Good writing skills, especially for regular market related content and presentations.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* A proactive self-starter who takes initiative and works independently without needing constant direction.
* Skilled at keeping multiple projects spinning at the same time and manage them through to completion.
* Ability to build relationships cross functionally and with external partners.
* Understanding of partner ecosystems within Financial Services and a good understanding of regulatory wording requirements.
* Experience within Employee Benefits or Fintech is a plus
