We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated registered Nurse to fulfil the role of a Digital Nurse.
This is a permanent role to support the digital and data transformation agenda, representing Nursing and Allied Healthcare Professionals colleagues across all levels.
This is a great opportunity to be involved in programmes of works that will require hands on clinical experience and knowledge to support the delivery of safer healthcare, improving patient outcomes and improving staff experience through the use of Digital Technology and Data.

Main duties of the job
The Digital Nurse will provide specialist knowledge, clinical informatics, advice and guidance working collaboratively with clinical key stakeholders to ensure patient and clinical involvement in the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of systems and services.
The post holder will represent the trusts Nursing/AHP community at all levels. Guided by the Chief Nursing Information Officer, they will provide a link to the Digital Department.
Collaborate with the Clinical leadership team and staff at all levels, regarding clinical workflow to ensure successful implementation of technology that benefits patient care and achieves expected outcomes.
Raise concerns with regards to risk, danger, malpractice or wrongdoing by following the trust policy and supporting processes.
Provide an in-depth knowledge of Digital procedures and IT safety relating to clinical practice, gained from experience and expertise as a manager in both the clinical and digitised usage.
Providing strong leadership across all clinical areas, being responsible for Nurse/AHP communication, engagement, deployment and feedback.

Qualifications
* Nursing & Midwifery Council Registration or Allied Health Professional
* Educated to Degree level
* Evidence of clinical leadership
* Working towards Master degree or equivalent level of experience.
* PRINCE2 Practitioner achieved or working towards
* Qualification in an Informatics discipline.
* Management Qualification.
Knowledge
* Significant experience in a clinical leadership role
* Knowledge of processes related to electronic systems.
* Knowledge of all aspects of patient safety and quality.
* Working knowledge of Meditech EPR system
* Accredited Clinical Safety Officer
Experience
* Experience of facilitating change in large and diverse clinical teams
* Experience of working across organisational boundaries and developing effective partnerships.
