Location: Belfast (Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our professional services team in Belfast. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing small to medium-scale projects across Digital, IT, Data, and Business Transformation initiatives. They will oversee project resources, schedules, and financials while ensuring adherence to PRINCE2 stage gate quality and control guidelines.
This role requires a strong ability to manage risks, issues, and change requests to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, manage, and deliver small to medium-scale projects across Digital, IT, Data, and Business Transformation.
* Ensure all projects are delivered in alignment with PRINCE2 or equivalent project management methodologies.
* Oversee project financials, schedules, and resource allocation.
* Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and project change requests effectively.
* Provide regular project reporting to senior stakeholders.
* Collaborate with internal and client teams, ensuring engagement at Senior Mgt.
* Lead project teams to deliver outcomes that meet agreed scope, quality, time, and cost objectives.
Essential Criteria
Candidates must demonstrate:
* 5+ years’ experience delivering projects for large organisations (Digital, IT, Data, or Business Transformation).
* Proven track record of delivering successful projects using PRINCE2 methodology or similar, with exposure to Agile, SCRUM, and Waterfall.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
* Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on-time, in-scope, and within budget.
* Experience managing client engagement at Departmental Head level.
Desirable Criteria
* Strong technical background..
* VOIP/ Data Telecoms industry experience (highly desirable)
