Role Overview
As a Senior Care Worker in our care home, you will lead the delivery of high quality care for older people, supporting residents with their daily needs while ensuring colleagues and care standards are maintained.
Responsibilities
* Supporting residents with personal and intimate care
* Acting as a key worker and supporting care planning
* Administering medication safely and accurately
* Monitoring residents’ health and wellbeing
* Supporting and guiding colleagues throughout the shift
* Ensuring records and reports are completed accurately
* Working alongside health professionals and families
* Ensuring the smooth running of the service
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience in care and confidence to support colleagues as a senior role
* Patience, professionalism and a strong commitment to delivering high quality care
* SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
* Basic IT skills for recording information and completing training
* Member of the PVG Scheme and registered with SSSC, or willingness to join and register
* Christian faith and ability to work within our Christian Ethos (Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 Equality Act 2010)
