Job Overview
As Payroll Executive in our friendly Head Office team, you will report into the Finance Director and be responsible for all aspects of our Tactical (part time) payroll, delivering a professional, accurate, timely and people-focused service to our casual teams.
Responsibilities
* Manage and monitor Payroll email inboxes, responding to queries and actioning requests within 24 hours
* Set up new Tactical employees on Sage Payroll
* Process online timesheet submissions in accordance with company procedures and monthly payroll schedules
* Support Tactical employees with any timesheet queries or issues completing timesheets
* Manage outstanding Tactical equipment returns with the Operations team
* Monitor, chase and approve Tactical timesheet submissions, escalating where necessary to meet payroll deadline
* Provide monthly Tactical payroll report to Finance Director to meet scheduled deadlines
* Fully document and respond to statutory requests related to Tactical teams employment within stipulated deadlines
* Support the wider Finance and Tactical team with any other reasonable requests linked to timesheets, queries, issue resolution and payroll
Qualifications and Skills
* Excellent administration and communication skills gained within an office or operations background, with a focus on attention to detail and an understanding of confidentiality.
* Payroll experience, in any form, would be highly advantageous.
* Your best self and an open mind, a willingness to learn new processes and systems.
* Strong administrative and organisational skills, a 'can-do' attitude and attention to detail for each task.
* Proficiency in using Google Drive, competent in creating and updating spreadsheets.
* Exposure to Sage Payroll or similar payroll software would be a bonus.
* Excellent numeracy and communication (verbal and written) skills.
* Good prioritisation along with an adaptable approach to meet every scenario and strict deadlines.
