Fife Health and Social Care Partnership is one of the larger Health and Social Care Partnerships in Scotland, serving the diverse Kingdom of Fife on Scotland’s stunning East coast. We provide health and social care to a population of more than 380,000 people and lead a workforce of around 7,000 staff. We support a Team Fife approach with NHS Fife, Fife Council, the independent and voluntary sectors.

The post holder will become a member of the Senior Leadership Team and report directly to the Director of Health and Social Care. • Adult and Older Adult Mental Health (Hospital and Community)
• Child and Adolescent Mental Health
• Learning Disability (Hospital, Community and Regional Unit)
• Psychology Residential Care Homes (Fife Council)
• Adult and Older Social Work
• Deaf Communication Service
• Adult Resources
• Addictions Services including Alcohol and Drugs Partnership (ADP)
• Adult Protection

The recruitment pack provides fuller details of these service areas and the vision for how we will work across traditional boundaries and portfolio areas to develop systems leadership and provide joined up care for the people of Fife within localities and our communities. By choosing to join Fife Health and Social Care Partnership, you are choosing to make a real difference. You will have a passion for the services within this portfolio and ideally have experience in leading these types of services.

You will have transferable skills to lead Integrated Teams working across organisational boundaries. You will ideally have knowledge and experience of both NHS and Local Authority as well as the national policy landscape for these service areas. You will have vision and ability to lead a significant programme of large-scale change and transformation. You will be committed to the delivery of the outcomes of integration for the people of Fife and strive for excellence in both quality and person centred care through our strategic plan.

We are looking to appoint a driven and inspiring individual who has the ability to manage and lead complex transformation and deliver wide ranging and sustainable service improvements.

As a team player you will be committed to collaboration and partnership working whilst ensuring the highest standards of strategic and operational management, working closely with both the Senior and Extended Leadership team.

Short listed candidates will be required to participate in a range of assessment activities including behavioural profiling, a real play exercise (with stakeholders), delivering a presentation and a values /competency based interview.
