Director of Sales & Marketing

Were looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing who understands how influence really works in hospitality. Someone who is connected, credible, and comfortable operating in the spaces where high-value business is shaped.
This role is about positioning Arthouse firmly within the upper-scale and luxury market, building meaningful partnerships, and creating a network that consistently delivers the right guests, not just more guests.
You will lead the commercial strategy for the hotel, driving revenue across all segments while shaping a brand presence that feels confident, current, and well connected.
What Youll Be Responsible For
Commercial Strategy & Sales
Lead and deliver the hotels commercial strategy with a focus on high-value, experience-led business
Build a strong and sustainable pipeline across corporate, agency, group, and event segments
Establish Arthouse within the luxury and lifestyle market in Glasgow, ensuring we are visible in the right places and with the right partners
Identify new opportunities through partnerships, collaborations, and proactive business development
Relationships & Market Position
Develop and maintain strong relationships with top-tier travel agencies, luxury consortia, DMCs, and key corporate accounts
Actively grow a network of travel designers, bookers, and industry influencers who can drive premium demand
Ensure Arthouse becomes a trusted and recommended name within the right circles
Hosting & Experience
Plan and host FAM trips, agency visits, and curated experiences that showcase the hotel properly
Use the property as a platform to build relationships, not just sell rooms
Represent the brand with confidence, whether in a boardroom, at a dinner, or on property
Marketing & Brand
Oversee marketing strategy across digital and traditional channels, ensuring it reflects the Arthouse identity
Deliver campaigns, packages, and partnerships that are both commercially effective and on brand
Work alongside PR and creative partners to build relevance within the luxury and lifestyle space
Performance & Insight
Deliver against agreed revenue and commercial KPIs
Monitor market trends and competitor activity, adjusting strategy where needed
Provide clear reporting on performance, pipeline, and ROI
What Were Looking For
Experience in a senior sales or commercial role within lifestyle, boutique, or luxury hospitality
A strong existing network across agencies, travel entities, and corporate clients
Proven ability to convert relationships into revenue
Confident communicator and natural host
Commercially astute with a good understanding of reputation and positioning
