Logistics Co-ordinator
Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position.

The company sources materials from demolition projects nationwide, from derelict farmhouses to large commercial developments. Established and located in the industrial heart of Sheffield, the company has gained vast knowledge and built a strong reputation within the industry.
Duties/Responsibilities
* Manage relationships with haulage partners.
* Book transport for orders.
* Update customers on anticipated delivery dates.
* Prepare packing slips for orders.
* Manage schedules for company drivers.
* Manage despatch of samples via couriers.
* Deal with any customer service issues relating to deliveries.
* Manage stock of packaging supplies.
* Other duties as required by the business from time to time.
Person Specification
Essential
* Previous customer service experience of at least one year.
* Confident and polite telephone manner.
* Good written communication skills.
* Proficient with email, word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft, Google etc).
* Attention to detail.
* Strong organisational skills.
* GCSE level qualification in Maths and English at grade C or above, or equivalent.
* Ability to be flexible in line with the needs of the business.
Preferable
* Experience working in a small team.
* Previous experience in a transport planning role.
Location: Sheffield S3.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm.
Salary: £29,000 paid weekly.
