The Role As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will be involved in all aspects of project delivery, from early-stage concept design through to detailed design and completion. Working closely with experienced engineers, you’ll contribute to the design of efficient, practical, and innovative structural solutions. Key Responsibilities Assist in the structural design of projects across a range of sectors Prepare structural calculations in line with Eurocodes, British Standards, and relevant design codes Produce drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit Support the coordination of structural and civil engineering design elements Liaise with internal teams, including infrastructure, highways, and drainage engineers Contribute to project delivery from concept through to completionAbout You Degree qualified (BEng or MEng) in Structural Engineering or a related discipline Strong interest in developing a career in structural engineering Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and development Ability to manage workload and work on your own initiativeDesirable Skills Some experience (placement or post-graduate) within a consultancy environment Working knowledge of AutoCAD; experience with Revit or Civils 3D is advantageous but not essentialWhat’s on Offer Competitive salary Pension scheme 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays Holiday buy-back scheme Discretionary annual bonus Free onsite parking Full support towards Chartership and ongoing professional developmentLocation This is a full-time, permanent position based in the Newton Abbot area (Devon), with office-based working.
