Facilities Manager AberystwythPermanent £40k - £49k A fantastic opportunity to progress and develop and work within a large facility based in Aberystwyth in West Wales.Offering a full Service and managing a large facility delivering high-quality, sustainable accommodation that enhances the student experience, whilst also offering full-service residential property management.As a Facilities Manager you will work closely with the Line Manager and three Engineers on site working Monday to Friday with one week in four on a on call rota system.The main aspect of the role is to manage the day to day placement and reactive maintenance on the hard services side for the accommodation on site.Responsibilities will include:
1. Supervise colleagues and subcontractors
2. Act an as Authorised Person for Low Voltage systems
3. Undertake all maintenance activities and comply with Health and safety
4. Manage and oversee all electronic office, technical, operational, financial systems
5. For all L8 activities and documentation management to be the responsible person
6. Manage CAFM and BMS Systems
7. Energy Management and system updating
8. Making sure the use and storage of materials, equipment and tools
9. Manage the digital and paper based permit-to-work system.
10. Implement H&S Management System and best practice ensuring OHSAS 18001 certification and other accreditations are maintained.
